The Model

For the model, my plan originally was to leave one of each of the sides unpainted, because i used an old Corona box, i thought it would look like billboards, and fit in with the theme of an old bar, but i found that it didn't look like billboards it just looked like i ran out of paint, so i did them all black.

I used white paper for the back alley section instead of painting it white because although I wanted it to look like a white cube gallery space, i also wanted it to still have the feel of a back alley, of being the bit nobody sees, and it didn't seem to work with just white paint. I also included an extra panel that extends beyond the back alley section so that it seemed like the alley went off beyond the model, and therefore gives the appearance of the back alley extending onto the street.
